| So I haven't updated in a while, I have never been so busy in my entire life but it has been great! I got back from Camp Early Monday morning, went to goodys at 5pm that day. Then teusday I went in for my internship job from 9am-1pm, then worked at goodys at 5pm again. Wednesday I worked internship from 9am-1pm then I had the College and Career Bible study at 7pm. So I worked again Thursday from 9am-1pm at internship and then 5pm at goodys until close as I did on Monday, and Teusday. And Friday was the same schedule as thursday except I didn't get back until 11pm. Then college and career had a car wash from 8am-2pm saturday and that was a blast! We raised $319 for voice of the martyers to send over action packs to persucuted Christians in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Then Sunday I had an anouncement to give about VOM, read the scripture reference which was a freakin 10 min long! Then I taught our 2DIE4 Sunday school class. Afterwards I went to the Africa meeting for Nov. I can't wait to go! TO Rhawanda, this is a dream come true! From there I went home for a little while to prepare for the night. We had a question and answer session that night in youth group and we had quite a few kids. I spoke for about 10 min about purity and then me, Jay, and Leslie all sat as in a Panel and went through the questions the kids had about dating and relationships. I loved doing it, it was great. Then after youth group the college and career got together to go over the service we are going to do next Sunday night for the youth. Then after that we went to Burger King to Hang out. Man oh man, so, needless to say, I asked to have the day off today from the internship. Also, our church has grown so much this year and summer. Pastor did a series on the Divinci Code for 4 weeks and we now have a membership of 1,200 people and growing. Soon, we are moving into another church. I am very excited about what the Lord has for this church and its growth. I can't wait to see the things that the youth are going to accomplish once they get out into the world. I can't wait until the college and career kids go out as well, they have tons to offer.
So the Lord has been amazing, I haven't gotton much time to write, that is the only drawback, but this summer has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have learned so much not just about what I'm doing in the future, but am still learning about this last year and how held back I was. I have been going full force and accomplishing so much and have so many opportunities that I will never do that again. I'm smarter and wiser now, and the best part....I'm free.... |
